Names Ariella Saperstein as Director of Policy Initiatives

Maimonides Fund has announced the formation of a new Department of Policy Initiatives, which will be overseen by Ariella Saperstein.

The new department expands on Maimonides Fund’s ongoing work to support Jewish life in America, to educate about Israel, and to strengthen the US-Israel relationship. Under Saperstein’s direction, the department will serve as a hub for:

  • Policy analysis, advocacy, and strategic communications related to Jewish life, Israel, antisemitism, and viewpoint diversity.
  • Grantmaking and program development for these areas.
  • Strategic partnerships with think tanks, academic institutions, communications and media efforts, and advocacy organizations.

Saperstein also serves as Associate Publisher of SAPIR, Maimonides Fund’s quarterly journal of ideas for a thriving Jewish future. Formerly Director of Viewpoint Diversity, she will continue overseeing the Fund’s viewpoint diversity portfolio in her new role.
