Project Overview
Maimonides Fund, in partnership with the Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI), invites proposals from experienced consultants to lead marketing and outreach efforts for a fully subsidized suite of tools that help Jewish non-profits foster dialogue across differences and support viewpoint diversity in the workplace. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy and serving as a sales/outreach function to drive adoption across the Jewish non-profit sector through 2026.
Background
The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI), with the support of Maimonides Fund, has launched a new suite of tools to help Jewish non-profits foster dialogue across differences and support viewpoint diversity in the workplace. The offering includes:
- A Jewish-adapted version of CDI’s Perspectives online learning program
- Pre- and post-program live workshops
- Optional analytics to measure impact
The program is grounded in behavioral science, informed by Jewish wisdom, and designed to improve dialogue, openness, and psychological safety within a wide variety of Jewish organizations. It is available at no cost to Jewish non-profits through 2026.
This RFP seeks a consultant to engage in outreach to organizations in the field to maximize uptake of the program through the end of 2026.
Scope of Work
- Marketing Strategy & Messaging
- Develop a clear and compelling value proposition tailored to Jewish non-profits
- Craft messaging frameworks and audience segmentation strategies
- Design a marketing plan that leverages email campaigns, networks, events, and relationship-based outreach
- Marketing Execution
- Create and manage marketing collateral (emails, landing pages, slide decks, one-pagers, etc.) with the support of existing materials from CDI
- Secure placements in relevant newsletters, networks, and convenings
- Track and evaluate marketing effectiveness, iterating based on performance data
- Outreach & Enrollment
- Build a pipeline of prospective organizational partners
- Conduct targeted outreach to Jewish non-profits (e.g., cold outreach, warm referrals, network activation)
- Hold introductory calls with prospective partners
- Convert interest into formal participation and coordinate handoff to CDI implementation team as relevant
Deliverables
- Marketing plan and timeline
- Messaging frameworks and collateral
- Monthly reports on outreach activity, pipeline status, and conversion metrics
- Minimum enrollment targets (to be negotiated)
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Jewish non-profit sector required (and relational capital within it preferred)
- Track record of successful marketing, outreach, and/or enrollment for mission-aligned initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to operate independently and drive results
- Preferred: Experience with dialogue or culture-change efforts in organizations
Timeline & Term
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract duration: Through December 2026
- Time commitment: Part-time, flexible
- Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience and time commitment
